Criterion Solutions can provide specialist applications development services at our Secret rated off-site premises using a pool of software developers and other skilled IT practitioners, all of whom hold a current TSPV security clearance. Criterion Solutions also has access to Top Secret rated facilities for projects that require that level of security.
Criterion Solutions can utilise its personnel and facilities for short term or longer term applications development requirements where organisations have:
- Approved and funded projects but not the internal resources necessary to conduct them.
- A requirement for surge capacity to get a project back ‘on track’ if it is falling behind schedule.
- A requirement for surge capacity where more highly security cleared personnel are required than are available.
- A requirement to clear a backlog of projects that may have a lower priority than needed to justify using internal resources, that can be more cost effectively conducted off-site.
- A requirement to conduct work that is not normally core business, for example applications development work at a lower security classification than is normal for the organisation and therefore would normally tie up otherwise highly cleared internal resources.
Criterion Solutions can conduct these off-site applications development activities:
- After normal working hours and on weekends, providing further surge capacity and flexibility as and when required.
- For short term or longer term projects.
- For smaller or larger applications development requirements sets.
- At short notice, with the ability to ‘ramp up’ very quickly to meet a high priority need.
For all works undertaken, Criterion Solutions will provide proper training, handover, documentation suite and integration services as well. In other words, importantly, ownership of the capability remains with the customer – we simply become the provisioning agents.
Non-Attributable Development, Innovation and Integration Lab
Criterion Solutions can use its secure facility as a non-attributable development, innovation and integration lab. Criterion Solutions can liaise with product vendors and conduct integration works as requested by an organisation without those vendors knowing which organisation the work is being done for. This may be desired by an organisation for various reasons such as the country of origin of the product or simply a requirement to keep product vendors at arms length.
Secure Test Facility
Criterion Solutions can provide a secure test bed facility for ongoing testing of applications development projects. This may be where a suitable test facility is not able to be provided by a project or where the test facility needs to be of a higher classification than the development site can accommodate due to the classification of the test data to be used.
Organisation Personnel Awaiting Security Clearance
Organisations can often have personnel employed whilst awaiting a high level security clearance to be granted. For some organisations this can present problems with how to utilise those personnel during that period. Criterion Solutions can use these personnel on an organisations projects at its Secret rated facility, with its lower clearance and therefore timeframes requirements, prior to the higher level clearance being granted. Criterion Solutions is therefore able to provide an environment for these personnel where they are able to work on projects off-site whilst waiting for the clearance to come through, ensuring that they’re actively engaged and utilised during that period.
